After all this SG talk I decided that I was going to look for another one to purchase. Managed to snag this for $90.

It’s missing a string, doesn’t have strap buttons, and is the older non-kill-pot version, but for less than $100, I am not mad about it.

And it is HEAVY. Literally. Weighs a ton.

I saw it and thought the same thing! Would be kinda cool to have a matched set. It's a good thing I am broke atm or I would be seriously considering it lol.

    You back yet?
What'd you expect ? GOTH ! Goth to be heavy ! LOL ...

It's pretty uncommon for an Epi SG to be heavy. Can you weight it ? The heaviest I've had was a 1998 Korean, no veneer. It was over 8 pounds if I recall. It was a beauty, but I sold it because of that.

    It's a LP in disguise.

Shake it over the tub to see if some Goth will fall out of it.

Back now but tape measure seems to have gone missing. Will try to look for something else to measure with.

My Goth SG is the lightest of them all. Also, the hardshell case it came with are not a fit for my other G400 models, as the Goth is a smaller body!

I can't compare my Goth to my other G400, since it's in storage right now.
What year is your Goth SG?

Serial number EE04061827. 2004 model pre-killswitch version. It is very light, and definitely a smaller body. My G400 worn wouldn't fit in the Goth hardcase when I wanted to take it to rehearsal a few weeks ago. I can only assume the G400 PRO is a no go in the hardcase as well, although who knows... it has different bevels from the G400 worn so maybe... I will have to get them all back together to do some measurements/comparisons/pictures but since I recently moved my things are in different places once again.

First time I hear of an Epi SG with a different size body.
The bolt on G310 and Special are a bit shorter overall, for the neck sits deeper in the body, but bodies are the same size.

First time for everything, and it seems my G400 with their different size bodies and neck profiles must really be something new, it is for me!

Wow, this is really getting interesting. I’m pretty sure my goth is full size, also a 2004, but Korean instead of Chinese

    AND ANOTHER ONE ! ! !

Will I turn into a Vintage G400 Eddie ? What is this, spontaneous generation ?

Since I bought my Cherry Vintage G400 four years ago, I've been scanning local ads to find another one. Nothing, ever. Then, within three months, I buy one and two more come up in the last week or so. It's like Vintage G400 Eldorado !

    I just might.

NGD to come. I'll now have one of each year of production of that model, 2003, 04, 05. I'll probably just keep two. To be continued ...
