I rarely even see ads on Facebook, with the exception of when I visit the site on my Amazon Fire. Glad I did today because I saw this ad which seems to me a super bargain.

Its for the Mooer "Red Truck" pedal system.

Odd name? Yeah, maybe. Until one sees the pedal. The it fits. :)

Five pedals in one. Well spoken of. (As, it seems, is everything Mooer)

Actually 6 since it also has a tuner. And 7 if you separate the boost and the drive.

How about all that for... $79 delivered?

    Here... https://rampfeeds.top/collections/best-sale/products/multi-effects-pedal

Frankly it seemed too good to be real, but since they accept PayPal the offer seems real enough.

Shipping is free, but not too fast I assume. I think it ships directly from China.

Anyhow I ordered one. More to follow.

I saw that earlier today too. Looks like a steal if it is anything like Mooer's other stuff

This is highly tempting. I was never a fan of multi-effects, as they confuse me ... but this looks like a lot of fun. :)

Hope you will be posting a new red truck day soon.

I'm wary of this. They copied/pasted sections from other merchants, even leaving in the sources.

I think those are legitimate concerns. But the PayPal link is real -- it brought up all my info (and I immediately got a response both from the seller and a separate one from PayPal). It was PayPal which made me 'chance it.' It'd thus seem risk free. But in truth who knows for sure these days?

My thinking is that the company does what some of the American liquidator do -- buy close outs and sell cheap.

    Well, time will tell.

I will be surprised if this is real. The website is only a week old. Best of luck.

Wishing you the best of luck, but I'd keep a close eye on my Paypal account.

I tried emailing the company but they kept being returned as tho there's no such e mail address.
I wanted to know about warranty issues such as is it international, where is company based, do you have to return it to base etc etc???
Keep us posted budd. If its genuine i'll ave one aswell.

The Red Truck owner's manual is available on the Mooer site. Here's the PDF.

Here are some 'swipes' from it that caught my eye and interest...

    First off the effects themselves.

This last one particularly intrigued me. That because some effects really need to go before the preamp, and others benefit from going between the pre and power stages. The Red Truck is designed to allow this on amps with an effects loop.

Of note (and possibly explaining why these units have been put on clearance), some users have reported issues with the units send and return leading to feedback when used this way. ???

I'd be uncertain about the legitimacy if these businesses, because fake store websites selling guitar gear for "too good to be true" prices and advertise them on Facebook as been an ongoing trend.

Not to jump into the alarming bandwagon, but...

I hate to pile on the scam alert call outside, but when you had this thought,

"Frankly it seemed too good to be real,"

you should have just walked away.

Companies that buy close out items and resell, don't (typically) do it one item at a time, and especially not with items that are still widely available elsewhere.
