I have 2 of them. They’re worth $40 and good for storage/protection of guitars in the house or practice space. They’re not worth more than $40, not very rigid, and not robust enough for gigging.

They always do this when I have no available cash.

I just bought 2 more to house current-naked guitars.

  5. Another deal breaker for me … shipping to the far west reaches of British Columbia. The duties and taxes etc also … :(
    Cheers, Barrie. ;)

I concur! If given the chance I'd rather have one of the polyfoam cases like Road Runner.

Perfect fit for my VM Jazzmaster. Good deal!
    Got one last year.
    Strats a Tele's flop around a bit.
    Will need some extra padding.

Road Runner cases are great but for $40 for a new hard case you really can't go wrong.

2 reviews say that a 335. 1 Q&A says no. Anyone have experience with this?

Never mind. Just measured, and the answer is no.

Good deal. I snagged a few two years ago. They come in handy.

I also always keep an eye out for hard shell cases on CL and FBM. I've gotten some great hard shell cases for $20. :)

Would these be ok for a plane ride for west to east coast?

My nephew is visiting and he's played violin in Youth Orchestra for a long time.
Soon he'll be a freshman in college and I'm thinking about giving him a guitar: an Affinity.

But he'll have to take it back to the east coast from San Francisco.

Will this case protect on a plane ride?

    Thanks.

Probably box it with some bubble wrap to be safe.

I like picking up these cases when they are on a great deal like this -- they are perfect for including in guitar sales, you can offer extra value and ship the guitar quite securely inside the case

Which raises a question I have always had. Those of you who sell and ship outside your local area, where you finding boxes for this ?

I keep all the boxes when I get things shipped to me - judging by what I have in that closet, I seem to buy more often than sell ;)
