They are the closest music store around near me.

Sure wish I could go get that Surf green Strat on the wall ;)

Yeah, wish it was on anything in store. Didn't seem to work on a Squier Starcaster semi-hollow. Anyone try calling in to see if coupon works on items the way it does at GC and MF?

EDIT--nope, I called. If it doesn't work 'in cart' it doesn't work.

I had no idea these things existed not far from me. Thanks.

For those who don't know, Guitar Center, Musician's Friend, Music and Arts, Music123, Woodwinds/Brasswinds, Private Reserve Guitars and some additional businesses are part of the same parent company. I have only used Music and Arts, but was able to order a WGS guitar speaker previously at a good discount on one of their sales, and the price included free shipping to their local store. I did have to pay state sales tax, of course.

From the comments above, there apparently are a lot of exclusions for certain items, but in general the guitar-related stores seem to recognize and draw on a common inventory. Even if your local M&A would never stock bare speakers, they can order them as easily as your local GC. I only use the speaker as an example, so it may not be a good option for everything you may want to buy.

My local M&A sometimes has more Squiers than the local GC.
