That would've been great.

Would love to be able to see them.

I heard from a reputable source, that all of his stage guitars nowadays are semi-hollow. Maybe not of interest to anybody, but it is to me.

They've had a great show every time I've seen them.

Back a long time ago when they were still just 'a little band from Texas', they played a show at the local Junior College gymnasium; sounded great back then too.

Nice pictures. Looks like you got pretty close to the stage. About how many people do you think were in the audience?

I saw them live only once, on the tour for Fandango, and on video countless times. They never disappoint.

the Gretsch Professional Jet line guitars are chambered. his "Billy Bo" is chambered, as well. the "Billy Bo" came about as a combination of the "Bo Diddley" Gretsch guitar(red rectangle shape) and some features that Billy Gibbons added to the guitar.

yeah, that's a Gretsch "Billy Bo". I think that his is red. a friend of mine in Louisiana had a white one. it's a nice guitar to play.

as a side note, my friend in Austin was playing one night at a club. well, Joe always plays his leads with his eyes closed. after the song was over, he looked up and there was Billy Gibbons watching him.

Saw em' last summer when they toured with Brooks and Dunn.
B&D went on first, their sound check guys must have been asleep at the wheel
cause' the sound was too loud and bouncing all over the place.
When the Texas boys came out, their sound check guys got it right! They played
all the classic ZZ tunes and were rockin' the house. The crazy thing was that
half of that hilbilly audience left before they started playing ! They didn't know what they were missing. Cheeeep sunglasses!

We were front row, stage left, very close to stage. This is set up at the fairgrounds on what would be very small oval dirt track. Grandstands were full as were the seats behind us, but not sure how many people.
