Default Random Album Cover thread - Make your own!

Some of you may have seen this before, but it's fun so I thought I'd post it here:

1 - Go to "Wikipedia." Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to "Random quotations"
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Here's my first:

Come on, let's see how creative you can be

Oh! How delightfully mad... I shall have to hop on this crazy train at some point... but not now... not this very moment... yet... for now... meanwhile...

You really should do it. But I've got to say, Squirr's set the bar pretty high here

I dont have Photoshop but I thought a good show bill would have the band A Little Off open for Not Quite Right ... made up band names of course ...

^ Speaking of made up band names, when I was in school back in the 80's we always thought it would be funny to call a band 'Various Artists'. Of course, we were young and stupid then

Thanks!

For those that don't have Photoshop, download the Gimp. It's open source/free.

I wish I could claim credit for this one but my wife decided to join in the fun and has nowhere to post it so here's her effort:

^ Isn't it great when the image works well with the words? That picture absolutely fits in with 'Skeptical Scrutiny'

Nicely done!

This is really good, Is your wife a graphic designer of some kind?nice touch with the "circular quotation", I've never figured out how to do that

This may have the potential to become an epic thread, it really is quite addictive!

Thanks Squirr - no, she's a 'gifted amateur', although she's self-taught in Paint Shop Pro and is currently teaching herself Photoshop. I keep telling her she should do this for a living, but she doesn't feel she can with no formal qualifications in it. I'll ask her how she did that circular thing if you like

And you're right, this game is very addictive!

What are the odds...

Also, the image was copyrighted... I Screen Captured it (Gotta Catch 'Em All!) and I hope I don't get done for it...

Some of these look like they belong in one of those "Horrible album covers" threads.

I'll do another one in a few minutes.

Here's one I did awhile ago, using different means. I was feeling a little Hendrixy when I did it.
