Default Pickup height adjustments

Has anyone here ever experimented?

I recently viewed a youtube video from Jason Lollar describing how the pickup height is subjective to the listener and since I never use position 2-4 because to me it sounds muffled. I made a note of the pickups original height and experimented. Lo and behold a dramatic improvement, I now love the noiseless positions and all I did was adjust the middle pickup height.

I hope this encourages everyone to try this all you need is a ruler and a number 1 small hobby Phillips screwdriver.

hrm...i'll have to try it w/ my SE...i don't care for the sound from the pickups so their getting replaced when i get the $$$. but till then, a few twists of a screwdriver might satisfy me.
