Very nice. The VM range is underated imo, and probably a little overshadowed by the CV range. I'm currently saving for a VM strat.

thanks man
i wish they did the SH version in these colours, but hey.. that extra pickup ain't too bad. I do mostly either using the bridge pickup or the 'bucker though.
that straps a fender one btw. really sets it off i think. was more than i'd ever thought i'd pay for a strap but it was the first strap i touched on the rack when picking it and i had to have it.

My VM upgrade project included changing-over to Gotoh Vintage Tuners. A worthwhile upgrade.

Yeah, the vintage style tuners are a great simple upgrade on any Squier.

How do they compare to straight up Teles? Like with the mini humbucker, and middle pickup. Aren't they a different type wood?

I've got the same one. Loving it. My mods are going to be a Strat neck, and BM wiring, with a push/pull to make the neck go out of phase.

Speaking of Vintage Modified, I had my sights on the Thinline Tele (left), but now I guess I'll just wait 'til the new Classic Vibe Version (right) of the same guitar comes out in the latter part of January. Check ' em out!

Overseer, can you give us a review of what the neck pickup sounds like? I am very much interested in how Squier does the neck mini>
Thanks

Ever played a Les Paul? I think it sounds like my Paul's neck bucker.

Anyone know about the scale length of the proposed CV Thinline? I have a VM Thinline in black, which I love, but find the 24.75" scale length a little strange.

The CV Thinline is 25.5 -- normal. At least that's what the specs that I saw said. I really like my VM thinline.

I own one...since 2009
I absolutely love my SSH, i did have a few modifications done:
fret edges needed to be filed, had a bone nut installed, REMOVED THE MIDDLE PICK UP (so i shoulda just got an SH), replaced the bridge pup with a Dimarzio...I love this guitar. Highly recommend it, but realize that you might just want to change a couple things...maybe not. Anyway...i love telling people it's made in India, kinda different. I think the Indian Red Cedar has a cool tone...also, the neck with maple fretboard is beautiful and a joy to play...
I like the glossy finish.
These gits are so underrated...

Love the white color. Just picked up a black Tele Thinline VM couple weeks ago that I love but the fingerprints are driving me nuts!
