Default Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Thinline , weight ??

Hello.Somebody that have one...How much is the weight of the Telecaster Thinline?I refer to the Modified but if you know the weight of the classic vibe thinline , please tell me , I'm also interested.

I'm comparing the weight of guitars that I like.I think that the thinlines are the lightest among the squier teles
I love the Danelectro 59-DC reissued recently that it weighs only 6.25lbs (2.84kg).I want to know the diference

I have a Vintage Modified Thinline and a Classic Vibe Thinline.

The CV is much lighter than the VM. I don't have an accurate scale but if I jump on the bathroom scale with the Classic Vibe, I'm 3 or 4 lbs heavier. With Vintage Modified, I'm 5 or 6 lbs heavier. With a regular Tele I'm 7 or 8 lbs heavier.

If light weight is what you're after, the CV Thinline wins, hands down. The VM is lighter than most solid body Teles but not as light as the CV Thinline.

Keep in mind that Telepicker's VM also has a bigsby on it, which adds some weight. I'll go weigh mine for you and come back to this thread in a little while.

OK, the bathroom scale say about 7 pounds, which seems heavy to me. Hmm.

I actually did my weighing of the VM a while ago before I put the Bigsby on it. Somebody had asked me how much it weighed and I remember the number was around 6 lbs.

I'm not sure the bathroom scale is the gold standard for assessing Tele weight, though. That number that comes up when I step on it can't be right!
