pro tone
i have a pro tone that is loaded with lace pups. silver-red front .red in back.it has a 5 position switch .it has the some of the best tones i have ever heard . was wondering if this was a standard deal or has it been modified?

Definitely has been modified. The Pro Tones came with alnico V pickups, probably from the Cort factory.

Yea, I hav'nt been real satisfied with my ProTone Pickups, might have to look into this you say red in the front and the back then silver in the middle?

Squier Protone Fat Strat
Great pups, especially the humbucker in bridge position. Very good output. Buta also the SC alnico are very nice

yes silver lace and red lace infront or neck position. and a red one in bridge position. with a 5 way switch. really a great combo
