Default String guage on Teles/adjustments

Hey all. What string gauge do you prefer on your Teles? Right now mine has 9s, but I want to move to 10s. Is anyone running 10s on their Tele? Do you lose any of that Tele sound? Also, what adjustments should I expect to make moving to 10s? Will I need to tweak the truss rod at all?

you may need to do a minor adjustment to the truss and the intonation, but it shouldn't be by much. i run 12s on my guitars, my tele sounds just fine, strat sounds even better.

I switched from 9's to 10's on my Crafter tele copy.
It still sounds very twangy and I didn't need to adjust the truss rod, or intonation at all.
Your experience with your particular guitar may vary however.
Good luck.
