My boy played the new Fender American Special tele last week and we really like the tone of the Texas Specials. Was wondering if anyone has tried any of the GFS pups in a tele? Are they good? price is certainly good. Just wondering if they are even close to a texas special. Also considering this guy: http://curtisnovak.com/pickups/tel_b-v.shtml Matt Walsh plays his pups and has a good tone too. Suggestions are welcome, but would like to keep price reasonable.
