It is a standard, which in my book are every bit as good as the CV's, I think I like the satin finish on the neck better. I got it at GC, I know, atleast they gave me a new one from the back. I had a 10% coupon, so out the door just a hair over $290.

Can't really tell what the color is. Is it cherry red, it looks a little darker. I've never been real crazy about red guitars but I'm liking this one.

It is Candy Apple Red, got a std Strat that color also so I couldn't pass.

How does the Bigsby compare to your Stratocaster tremolo?

You know the funny thing is I don't use a lot of trem really, but I've allways wanted a guitar with a bigsby. Now, I can say I like the feel of the Bigsby trem, it just seems more solid, if that makes sense, and the sustain doesn't seem to suffer at all. In reality I went down to GC because a fellow member had posted they had these at his GC, when I got there I just couldn't pass it up, I think the fact that I have a CAR strat maybe influenced the purchase. Either way I am really happy with this guitar, I will eventually change out the pots and the switch, maybe do a 4 way switch, but other than that this one will stay fairly unmolested.
