Default NGD! Tele Special

Just picked up this 03 Tele Special and ive decided to mod it a bit,the stock humbucker is alright but does anyone have any advice about the GFS Vintage '59 or Fat Pat pups? Looking for a less screaming distortion, more of a classic crunch, and I think this thing needs a pickguard, maybe black pearl?

Just put the Alnico Fat Pat in one of my Strats. I like the sound, especially for the price.

Sweet Tele, I've used the GFS Crunchy Pats and worked great for Classic Rock.
