Default what have i got?

hey all, greatly appreciate any advice on what squire telecaster i have, i was given it a while ago, i dont use it, im a bassist and times are hard, so i was thinking of selling it, problem is i cant seem to get any solid idea of what it is and what its worth in the scheme of all things telecaster-y

first off: its Korean s/n :KV970092696 its cream and white, but i seldom see pickups such as this has, the bridge pickup is your usual affair, cocked and set into the bridge plate, but the body pickup is solid chrome, with none of the dots that (i assume) are the magnets under each string.

greatly appreciate any info, sorry if this is an often asked / inappropriate question in which case delete / flame away

first post ill need some advice soon on P-basses

Any chance you can put a pic up of the guitar. It can help identification.

I believe the KV97**** serial means it was built at the Korean Saehan(Sunghan) location in 1997. Someone here may be able to give a price range as to probable worth.

And welcome to Squier-Talk.

That's a nice Tele... I'd buy it but I'm not in the market... GAS but no money HAH!

As long as it's still a 3-way switch then it should be a regular Tele. If you want to get REALLY detailed (perhaps needlessly, I don't know, depends on who's looking) you could show us the electronics and tell you about the bits. We could determine then if everything electronic is stock.

Again... that's a nice Tele, great colour for a Tele!
