Default Fender Telecaster Vintage Pro 1963 NOS CVC for rich players ;-)

I have just found that Fender launched a Custom Shop version of the Squier CVC tele!!

the Fender Telecaster Vintage Pro 1963 NOS

So now all the "brand on the head" fanatic they have a reason to spend more that 2,000 USD to have a real fender.

It would be interesting to see a comparison with the humble Squier, I am not saying that a 2000 USD instrument is the same as a 300 USD, but just to compare if the difference in term of price is justified by an equal difference in term of quality.

Ciao

I would rather buy a CV custom tele and swap the pups for Dimarzio Twang Kings then give that CS strat a run for it's money.

Yeah... I have no love for the high end goods. I'm a cheap b'stard and in England, when you're cheap yet still awesome, you are too cool... but that means nothing from me as I can be called biased
Awesome stuff but not so awesome that I wanna own one... never mind trying one and having folks get pissed off because the teen amateur wants to be all cultured like he actually apparently is.
Besides, I've managed to make the right friends so I get to noodle with stuff folks my age couldn't even begin to imagine... although it's also partly because it's waaaaay deep into the music world more so than you can scratch at the purported media idealism.

It's the hard case, strap and four way switch, that stuff's expensive....

Love my CVC. I think I'm ruined for all other Tele's now.

My dad was a pro musician and worked for a mom & pop music store for 30+ years. He told me the markup on guitars and amps was huge!! You are paying dearly for the Fender name on the headstock.

and think about the markup of the manufacturer!!

production cost sometimes to make an expensive (for the buyer) product or a cheap (for the buyer) product is not so different, on cheap they have smaller profit but large volume of sales, on expensive they have huge profit but smaller volume of sales.

Matteo

P.s.
I said "sometimes" ;-) it doesn't mean that my cvc is like a cs
