and with that price, he's very "proud" of it, too. I can go to Best Buy or Guitar Center and get one just like it for $169.00.

Yes, but he's only charging $4.95 USPS priority mail small flat box rate.
I guess he's going to have to cut it up in small pieces to make it fit.

the seller just contacted me and said he would have to check on the wording, as it was posted by his assistant. he did agree that the word "rare" should not have been used.

My message to him: "Dude, this is an Affinity Tele... you do realize you can buy this guitar anywhere on the web for $179, right?"

That's still less than what they sell for new. Don't know if the warranty transfers or if there are any upgrades on it.

You guys missed the best part. He cleverly positioned a a "Fender USA" hardcase next to the guitar (which is not included btw) thus completing the illusion. Total scam if you ask me. You think for 700 he would at least offer free shippping

It says "a new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear" in the item specifics, but the pics show chips. Ah, now I see what's rare... Chips that are not the result of wear. They must be naturally occurring chips.

I think the only naturally occurring chips around that deal are cow chips.
