Default Hardtail bullet

There is one on ebay for $100 with shipping.
Was just wondering what you guys thought of them?
How does it compare to the other models?

If you get it I'd put a black guard on it.

I don't think that is a hardtail. It has a standard bridge and trem. It doesn't say hard tail. Where did you get that it was? It looks like a modern bullet. They normally sell for that price. Don't confuse this type of bullet with the ones that are Vintage. The vintage Bullet's have a Strat Body and a Tele Neck and are as good as American Strats. The difference between the modern bullet and the vintage bullet are night and day.. and the vintage cost a lot more.

Here is what I am talking about. The new Squier Bullet's sell for $119 new on Amazon.

Here is a Vintage Bullet.. Notice the differnce in look and in price.

I know the difference between the older bullets and the new ones.
I thought it was a hardtail cause when i zoomed in on the pic i couldn't see the hole for the trem arm or the cover for the springs on the back or holes for the strings to go through like aon a tele.
I had purchased one from GC online but it got discontinued, they did give me a free fender deluxe gig bag and a set of strings because of it. Thumbs up to that.
I'm just thinking something without a trem would be fun to mess with and was wondering what everybody else thought.
I have 3 squier strats and a hwy 1 and they are all black, so i'm not crazy about that color again.

Sorry Bob, It just threw me off a newer bullet hardtail.. That would be one that I definately had not seen.. Though it sure isn't a bad idea for a bullet. It would probably cut production costs.I would say you are tired of black... You now need a bunch of white guitars to neutralize the black. Maybe not...lol

The one I purchased from GC was white but I never got it. It was 2 humbuckers and no trem.

Looks like one of the hardtails to me. I also don't see the trem arm hole.

The headstock on the modern CIC Bullet says "Bullet Strat" in small type; that one just says "Bullet" in bolder type. The new ones don't have a skunk stripe on the neck either.

Thats definitely a hardtail, just look at the pictures. It also looks like some type of wraparound bridge.

Unless it has a black backplate that REALLY blends with the paint then I'm pretty sure it's a hardtail.
