Yet another CV 50's Strat NGD
After several A/B playing with this CV 50's, a white CV 50's, and a red CV 60's Strat, it all came down to which one felt right. I really wanted the white one, but the neck didn't feel as good. I've always wanted a burst Strat, so I'm happy.
I realized that this is the first new guitar I've ever owned. All the others were bought used via pawn/ebay/guitar shops.
Introducing the new family member...
Later I'll change the super thick, white pick guard out with a mint green or maybe a tortoise one. Most of the holes should line up, and I don't mind drilling holes in guitars for the rest! (don't worry, I have a few decades of wood working under my belt)

That's because the CV60 has a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, so it's made out of two pieces of wood. The truss-rod inside the 60s neck was installed and covered by the fretboard - that's why it doesn't have the line. The CV50s has a one-piece maple neck, and therefore, the truss-rod was installed from the back and afterwards covered by the line of dark wood. The line is called a skunk stripe.

Congrats, I think maple fretboards look better on bursts than Rosewood.
That's a beauty.
