3D guitar model
I got bored this weekend and decided I would make a 3D Strat model. With this guitar model I can now try out all sort of different looks without getting out any paint or sandpaper! Any kind of colors and pup arrangements...
Starting out with a nice red w/white pickgaurd, what do you think of it?

Which 3d app are you using? That's an awesome idea. Care to pass on the model? I'd love to give a run at it myself.
Great job.

3ds max 2009 is what I used to create it. I would be happy to share the model if you can use it.

I have it set-up so that color changes can be done on the fly, or you could just apply your own custom texture, sunburst flames etc

This is one I'm real proud of! All the artwork on the body was hand done by yours truly, I wouldn't mind owning one just like this

Yeah me too, I think there were some clear acrylic guitars in the 80's?
Ok heres my tribute to the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan (I know the hardware should be gold but I haven't figured out how to do gold yet)

This looks pretty cool! I was looking for something that would let me see how different pickguards would look with certain colors.
Do you know if the model will work in Blender (an open-source 3D app)?
