Squier Affinity Blues solo on youtube
The poor Affinity gets bashed so often, even by Squier fans. So i wanted to come to it's defense and make a little video to demonstrate that it can produce pretty nice sounds.

The Affinity is stock. I bought it for $60 on ebay. Mint except for one small paint chip (i.e. relic). I have been planning to sell it, as the narrow neck is not what my hands are used to...but i keep hanging on to it for some reason. if i decide to keep it, i may put some alnicos in it. the stock ceramics are good, and they're fine if you play with a lot of overdrive or other effects....but i play clean, and alnicos just have the sound i prefer.

Great playing, as usual.
I agree, the stock pups sound good as is but Alnico's will make it better.

Great playing Pesky. I never put down the poor Affinity anyway. I just like my full size better.
