Good to see young kids still playing the blues and keeping it around.

Kid has it made. Wish I had just 1/4 of his natural talent. My oldest son was a natural and was doing some amazing stuff and just quit playing after a while. Again, I wish I had just a quarter of the talent he has. Then my youngest son has worked his butt off to become an accomplished player.

Me...? I've been trying for 44 years to play, and I still ain't worth a damn.

But on the bright side, I can repair and set 'em up for sure.

... I gotta be the disgusting pile of poop and say:
He looks incredibly stupid.

I don't like him but I'm a bitter swine so let's move on...

Fantastic stuff! Ridiculous talent and a wonderful positive out look. Yet he still experiences the life of a normal kid his age and thusly shall not become a recluse of sorts; according to his father.

Seems like he could grow up to be an arrogant SOB... but that's not going to happen.

Yes, I am going "grrrrrr avast, matey" but ignore that, the kid is seriously good and seriously dedicated. Full applause to him*.

*Absolutely no sarcasm intended, I am trying to absolve myself of being brutally honest that I'm probably jealous or overly critical that I feel the kid is a big no no. Maybe it's "Oh snap! The competition! Must bad mouth... No... Must resist... Bad Bill... Resist the hate! resist it!!!" He's a great player! Hopefully not a big bag of money for someone... He's good let him be good, shoo shoo nasty record label companies!

...I play the Blues...

I got the neuroses... I do get all Kurt Cobain-y sometimes though... which disturbs me...

I feel sad now

I actually still feel good about my playing . This makes me laugh. The kid is all right for his and of course he has endorsements. He's a novelty but his playing is really lacking. While I don't expect every player here to be great, if this kid is better than you , well you suck at playing then.

I think he's great. His playing flows and isn't amateur. Give the kid credit. If he plays better than some people fine. Who cares. I'd rather see a kid like that do good then end up in a worse place doing nothing. lol
Thanks you guys for the video's.

From the vids that ain't posted here this kid has got the kind of help he needs. Great to see Buddy Guy and BB King helping him along. Can't wait to hear him when his fingers get to full size.

why do you feel like making me feel any worse about my playing?
If I want to torture myself by finding 5 year olds who play like SRV on youtube, I can do that on my own.

At least he is playing the *REAL* guitar and not the Guitar Hero video game(not that there is anything wrong w/ the Guitar Hero game). Im just glad to see younger kids still picking up musical instruments

My son is taking piano lessons, but he's started picking up my tele and likes to plug it in and play on that. He's finding the notes all by his lonesome...I hope he gets good. I need lessons.
