American made Squier and worth

There's an American made Squier so far on ebay for $100.One thing though free shipping. I tend to wonder sometimes about that.
It's black and here's the first letters and numbers.
CAE-0030
I'm wondering should I try to snag it. I read a little about them. Maybe you guys can give me so advice. Thanks ahead of time.

I'd be skeptical, I believe they had E9*-serials .. the ones I've seen anyway ... CA? China perhaps ...
**Yea I just found a CAE-serial neck on ebay and no way this is anything like the USA Squiers, the USA Squier was more like a Mexican strat decal serial-location etc .... save your money on this one ..

There was two on there last week as a package deal, I was outbid at the end. I think with shipping I was at around $410 for both ($65 shipping) But someone wanted them a little more. So I would say bottom dollar for an authentic USA Squier Strat is prabably just north of $200. But I do agree, that this is probably not a US Squier.

Thank guys. Yes I am a bit skeptical. I put the serial number is the search and so far I've another guy with a black Strat and a CAE. He's asking also about it. lol Only one answer, Something about a guitar pack.

I just found this. It says it's part of a guitar pack and made in China. lol Makes sense with all the research a you guys helping me. I'm glad I didn't bid on it. lol
