for 50 dollars, year of manufacture wouldn't matter to me at all. unless it's completely trashed, buy it..

Although the last picture is a bit fuzzy, it looks like a Made in Korea, VNXXXXX
$50.00? I think it's a deal.

according to the serial number, it IS in fact a MIK Squier circa 1994. I pick it up tomorrow evening.

I agree, there will be more opportunities if you're patient enough.

yeah, I think its made in korea with and S9 serial most likely
so 1989, it has the plastic machine head tuners, which is a sure sign of korea, mostly likey a plywood body though, for $50 its not bad at all,
people try to sell these guitars on ebay for $250-350 all the time, they take great pictures and rant and rave about korea made guitars reputation. but all in all, IMO not worht much more than 75 in mint condition

That's what I hate about dealing with CL ads. Most of the time it's like it was posted as a mistake or a joke because the seller never returns messages or changed their mind.
The patient ones can get great deals on CL but you have to suffer the BS of fools on the way to landing that great deal.
