Default To modify Squier Classic Vibe 50 Stratocaster with Fender Tex-Mex pickups???

Hello boys¡¡¡regards from Spain¡¡¡Though I am very happy with my Squier Classic Vibe 50 Stratocaster ... I am thinking of modifying it with a few Fender TeX-MeX pickups...I have thought about these pickups because they have a good price ... the Fender Road Worn has these pickups and for to what I could have listened and to see in concerts, videoes, etc they sound enough good...That look like to you the Fender Tex-Mex??Are they a few good pickups??Can someone say to me if this change is worth it and if the guitar was improving his sound??I play blues (I like much Buddy Guy,Stevie Ray Vaughan,Jimmie Vaughan,Clapton,Robert Cray,John Mayer,Hendrix...etc) and surf music like The Shadows,The Ventures,Dick Dale,Chris Isaak...etc...Someone knows if these pickups can have a good sound for this type of music ...???I like also rock music and "indie" music and bands as The Cure,The Smiths,Mogwai,Explosions In The Sky...etc...I am grateful very much for your help¡¡¡Pardon for my bad english and spanish regards¡¡¡
Mario.

i prefer the CV50s pickups to the Tex-Mex pickups. I love the clear, bell-like tone of the CV. But i play clean mostly. if you want a harder-rocking pickup then maybe the Tex-Mex will work for you.

btw, you and i like a lot of the same music.

I agree with pesky here, you can always put a pedal in front for some dirt...a good clean is something you need to start out with first!

Thank you for your answers ¡It is true that I am very interested in that the pickups have a good "strat" clean sound...Then the Tex-Mex are not good for clean sounds ...?Are not they good for surf music? Is it better to preserve the alnico III?I like the bridge pickup sound and the middle pickup sound of the Alnico III pickups...but my problem is with the neck pickup...I think that to the neck pickup lacking him something of "punch"...Probably the reason is that the height of the pickups this one very low ...?It is true that the height of the neck pickup, especially in the side of the low strings this one practically to the same level of the pickguard...Someone believes that this can be solved raising the height of the pickup? Also I have this sensation when I activate the positions 2 and 4 of the pickups...The sound is something dark...Is it possible that this could solve if I raise the height of the neck pickup and of the middle pickup?I hope that someone could help ... thank you very much again ¡

Just take a screw driver and slowly raise the pickup. Do it one turn at a time. Leave the controls at one point and try the guitar. Keep raising until you get what you want. If they are too high you will know by the tone.
As far as the Tex Mex goe I have them in my 60th Ann MIM Strat. They are really nice pickups. The come standard in the Jimi Vaughan as well.
If the rasing of the pick ups doesn't give you what you want then by all means swap them out.
I am sure raising them would make a big difference.
