Default Need help with my strat! ;)

Hey guys,

this is my first post in the forum so I hope i'm posting in the right section. Well basically I want to find out what my Fender Squier is actually worth and if it's any good. It's a Japanese Fender Squier Stratocaster with serial number N034227. I got this guitar some years ago and lately ive been thinking about buying a new guitar, but first I want to find out how good this one actually is. So if anyone could please give me an indication (moneywise and qualitywise) on what the value of this guitar is it would be much appreciated!

here are some pictures, if they can add anything:

It looks like it's etiher from 1993 or 2003.

What are you selling it for? If the price is right I'll take it.

I recently picked up a cherry Q serialed (1993-4) that is one of my favorites but it could use some pickups.

I'm new to Squiers but I hear the *** strats were real good. I was looking at 2 on ebay (a 92 and a 93) and they both went for around £150 (approx $250US at a guess?). If you really want to know how it plays, plug it into an amp and have a go! I'm sure you'll love it, enjoy

Value is personal but in my opinion Squier guitars are excellent intermediate type guitars. They are practical, don't have the fancy inlays and hardware of the higher priced guitars but can sound and play very good. Because Squiers are moderately priced I can take them around to parties, jam with friends without a lot of worry.

It would be worth a bit more because it is from the MIJ bunch. They seem to always bring in more because of better quality. Sense you are hanging on to it looks like a sweet guitar that could use a little TLC. Welcome to the Stratosphere. Oh yea, how do the emgs sound? They really set off that guitar.

Sorry for the late response haha but the EMGs sound good to me. I have never had any complaints. The only thing is that I don't have alot to compare it to because this was my first serious guitar and im certainly not an expert.

Thanks for the info by the way, its good to know my guitar doesnt suck! What does TLC mean by the way??
