Double-checking tremolo size for VM Strat upgrade
I'm going to get the bigger trem block from GFS for my VM Strat. Since it's a Squier and technically an import, is this the block I want to get?

That's the one. It would also be a very good idea if you or anyone who buys this post a before and after sound demo to hear the difference in tone.

Don't have samples, but have installed three, one in my son's Jay Turser, one in my 2000 Squire SE and one in a friends MIM Fender. My sons' was steel, the other two brass. All three really improved the tone and added a lot of sustain. Well worth the price of admission! All three also got the complete tremolos, so also got new saddles.

I put the whole trem in my VM Strat,easier and then you know everything will fit

i upgraded to the brass block a few months ago and it really enhances the sound and sutain of the guitar.makes a big difference.

What block did you have before, was it the pot metal block. I am thinking of getting a Wilkinson with an aluminum block to add some warmth.
