Default NGD SQUIER S73!!!

This is one of those guitars that was made during the acquisition of DeArmond in 2002.

Gotta thank JustBob for the trade!!!

I have had this thing for 5 hours and have played it for nearly 3 of those 5 hours.

I also got an Epi LP jr in the trade but I am selling it to fund parts for this.

This one seems to be a bit more of a base model than others I have seen. The neck has a standard dot inlay and the headstock only says "Squier by Fender" with no diamond or anything.

It plays- amazingly well.
It sounds- 1000x better than I would have ever thought.

I already have some parts ordered for it.

Gonna be really sweet VERY soon.

Here is a pic as she sits in her current state.

Black on Black on Black.

Soon it will be Chrome PAF with Black Pearl PG on Black.

I'm thinking she will be real sexy.

I just hope the new PUPS sound close to as good as the ones I am removing.

I'm sort of jealous. I've been looking for one of the set neck ones for a long time. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the bolt neck that you have is an s73.

Know what it is? I am only getting that name from google, but I did notice that those all have block inlay and DD humbuckers. This one has neither.

But these Humbuckers sound great!!

Looks sweet - should be awesome when its 90'd up - are you dropping a pair of p90s in or going for keeping an HB in the bridge?

Putting PAF style buckers throughout.

It's gonna be wicked...

I say this a lot but this one may just be a keeper.

I have ordered new screws for it, so that the pickguard and humbucker rings will have new, not rustyish screws.

Gonna be sweet in a few weeks, i just wish you guys could play it, it is truly impressive. i did not expect that it would be so well made.

NICE SCORE!!!!!! I've never seen one of those before. I would change the pickups and call it a day, but if you must change the guard, I personally think that guitar would look better with a white guard. the black pearl will look good to!

i have a set like those i think? mine came out of an epiphone dot theire classic humbucker and classic humbucker plus but if i look at the sticker on the back,it says forthe red wire one:57 CH (G) dot: neck.bridge lp:neck and on the one with the black wire it says:57CH(G) dot:neck.bridge LP: neck.other words for a les paul they would be neck pups.and now i have no idear wich one was the bridge and wich one was the neck on my dot or if you prefere wich one is the classic and wich one is the classic plus. i do know that they sound different, they are a classic and classic plus.

I would multimeter them to determine which is hotter maybe, I think.

Here are some white knob options:

These might look REALLY slick on there:

These speed knobs would look classy as hell! They are pretty much the same as the ones from guitarpartsonline
