Default 7 String Stagecaster???

I found this forum when I was trying to find out anything about my axe! Great forum!

I have several guitars and can find lots of info about them, but the 7 string Stagecaster is still a mystery? Does anyone have any info on this or am I just spinning my wheels trying to find where it was made, it's value, etc???

I will do my best to get a photo of it soon.

Thanks to all in advance!

as i recall.... the SQUIER STAGEMASTER had a special 7-string model... it was made in korea i think but as it's not a Squier that is super high range i'd believe it were made in the multiple factories we see now. the indonesian, chinese and korean factories manufacture most Squiers in the 21st century; some CV Squiers have been made in India according to wikipedia.

They're worth around the £200 mark on a good day. I've seen a couple go for £100-£150. That'd be $160 at the least and $320 at the very most.

BillStickers,

Thank you. I gotta' actually get a photo of this thing. I do know that it is specifically a Stagecaster, not the Stagemaster. I did find that it was most likely manufactured somewhere around the year 2000. I just have to look at it a little closer.

ok...

sorry if putting that in bold was patronizing [eep] ... it was really for my own sake of having it "formally introduced".

Made for the overseas market I'm guessing. Click the pic to make it bigger.

My Daughter has had a cobalt blue 7-string Stagemaster for 3 years. It's a nice guitar. I did find info somewhere. I'm taking a guess, But I believe it was the Blue book on guitars that gave info.
Here's a sample of the guitar Bluebook, Page 985 and 986 has the Stagemasters.
