Well, gang, it's time to get another guitar.

Some of you know my story. Bought a 2K Squier Strat Standard totally on impulse back in 2K, played it for less than a month, left it in it's case until 2010!

Just put a loaded pickguard in for an HSS setup...sounds great! Only problem is...I REALLY hate the skinny neck.

So, I'm gonna sell it & get another axe. I hit a couple of places today including GC. I like the wider neck on the Ibanez's, Epiphones & Yamaha's. Although the Yami wasn't the Pac112V I'm dying to play.

So, what are your thoughts on the brands I mentioned?

Why not get a newer Squier, the newer ones don't have as narrow of a neck as the ones made in 2000. The Standard Squier that I had was a 2002 with the narrow nut width with the shoreline gold finish and maple fretboard. I had swapped out the three single coils with just a seymour duncan little 59 pickup and regret selling it on ebay. What color is it I might be interested?

I think I just want something else. I like to try other types/brands of guitars.

Anyway, it's kind of a metallic black with a really dark greenish tint. It came with the 3 stock alnico's, knobs & selector in cream. Now it has the H/S/S ceramics loaded pickguard from GFS. Pups, knobs & selector are black, pickguard is white. ALL pups come with the guitar! The originals are still in the original pickguard.

I keep it in a custom Charvel Charvette case I bought in '88. Everything is mint, since I barely played it. I don't consider it used...just pre-owned! Even the case is in near-excellent condition, just a couple of scratches.

I'll get some pic's up tomorrow and it will also be on Craigslist.

Wrote out a very detailed ad last night and took some pics. Just gotta tweak it. I should have it on craigslist later this evening. What's funny is, I won't miss it because I never really played it. Oh, well...

May have a new axe by Saturday if I like what's out there.
