Default Samick, Greg Bennett ?

I need some HELP, my friend ask me to look at his Samick guitar he has not picked it up in years. I have no clue about these guitars i would like to know what model it is ? It has a Les Paul type body (set neck) with two humbuckers, and tele type controls. At looks like solid fender style saddles hard tail type bridge? Any help would be great
Thanks 5thumbs

I have a Samick Telecaster and I like it a lot.

I remember reading that Samick is perhaps the largest manufacturer of musical instruments on the world. Samick is a South Korean company.

A picture would help a lot. You might recognize something similar on google images.

I interpret your description a modified Les Paul type guitar. I suspect the set neck is probably a feature of Samick higher grade guitars, and it might be a nice instrument, comparable in sound to the Gibson Les Paul.

I find the case is often a clue to the quality of the guitar. If the guitar comes with a nice hard case with heavy duty latches and velvet or fur lining then the instrument is likely of a higher grade.

Does the guitar resemble one of these: http://www.guitareast.com/avion.html

It's a AV, it's 24 inch scale. The models range from AV1 to AV7 varying in quality. The AV4 has a telecaster ashtray and a coil tap.
