New project
This is the basis for my new project. I got it from the same ebay seller that I got my swirl body from. I have already changed the knobs, tip and pup covers to vintage cream ones from GFS. Also got one of their aged trem arms. Am still looking for a neck. Will probably go with maple, I seem to be hooked on them. May end up changing the pups, have to wait and see what these sound like. They are ceramic.

Cool, cool, cool !!
Keep us updated.
I vote for maple too.
But I have a MIM in Lucerene Aqua Firemist Blue with maple
neck that is one of my favorites. Something about a maple neck.
Best,
BC

Thanks, I like the blue also, it's kind of a pearl, so it looks different colors depending on how the light hits it. Will post more pics when it's finished. Ended up getting a maple neck, so just waiting for it to arrive.

I am with you MotoMan.... I love projects and project picts. I love guitar picts in general. That is one of the cool parts of the board. People are encouraged to post picts. My phone takes sucky pictures I am going to have to find a cheap digital that does better. If anyone has a cheap suggestion, I am all ears..

Ok, the new project is completed. I ended up putting new pups in it, Rose Mariposa pups. So far they sound really good, but just finished the project yesterday, so still playing around with setups. However, the poles were to big to fit the cream pup covers I bought, so now I don't know if I should change the knobs, etc back to white or leave like this. tuners, trees, knobs, pupcovers and trem arm came from GFS. Neck is from guitarpartsonline who also sell dragonfire pups and body came from customguitarguys who I also got the swirl body from.

Nice... very nice ! Plus each guitar has it's own amp. thats good work. Could you open the holes in the covers up a little bit to make fit ?

I may try that, but two of the covers don't even seem to match up with the poles, but only paid 5 buck for them, so we'll see what happens.
