Default Any acoustic pickers on here?

I like picking up my old Goya and strumming a few chords now and then. Anyone else?

I enjoy playing my cheap Fender acoustic from time to time to mix things up.

yeah, I played an acoustic for many years. so, much so, that a friend had no idea that I could play an electric guitar. my first acoustic was a Framus that I bought in a PX in Germany in 1972. in '74, I bought an Alverez acousitc, which I still have. but the last few years, I've gotten back into my electrics.

I love acoustic folk and I've got an old Yamaha FG.

I got a John Fahey tab book a while ago thinking it would be beyond me and a project for the future.

I got stuck in though and learnt a few of my favourite tunes - in open tunings as well!

Very satisfying.

Yeah yeah yeah I love acoustic guitars. I have a Lyon by Washburn and I'm afraid I'm gonna wear it out because I play it so much.

You can listen to it on this little original song recording that I made "Fishing For The Blues" 955 KB Fishin' For The Blues.mp3 http://www.box.net/shared/oldrdpilvh

Me too.

On this

Busker MM Blues resonator. Reproduction of a 14fret National, complete with huge neck, flat board, slotted headstock. Has 16-59 strings and gets played with a variety of slides. Daily!

And this

Simon and Patrick Dreadnought. Spends most of its time in dropped D tuning or DADGAD. Lovely sound and nice to play. Its had a hard life though, still has the aroma of smoky gigs and pubs!

Yup...I started at 8 years of age with an old Ovation 12 string Balladeer (never strung it with 12 though) It's going through a resto right now and I'm playing an Asian model dreadnought that was given to me (Kent).

I play acoustic... more now than I ever did.

My first was a 1970 Kingston 3/4 Folk Guitar, that my 5 year old niece now bangs on;

A year later I got into electrics. But in 1995 I decided I needed an acoustic again, so my wife bought me one:

1994 Ovation Celebrity Deluxe CC257

Currently on loan to a cousin.

Shortly there after we got a beagle who was deathly afraid of guitars. So I put them away for 12 years. After his passing, I started playing again and started buying again. Since then I picked these acoustics:

1995 Ovation Balladeer 1751 12-string

2007 Ovation Elite-T 1868T w/OP Pro-Studio Preamp

2008 Dean EABC

2009 Martin OM-1

So yes... I play my acoustics regularly... and my electrics too.
