Actually I got the AXL a couple of weeks ago, but just got around to taking a couple of pics. The Washburn I just got today. I had been looking at the AXLs for awhile, kind of like the look, something different, but I like a maple neck on my strats/strat types, so when I saw this one on ebay.....well, you guys know the drill. As for the Washburn, well, I like Bud and am from Chicago, so what else could I do? This one will probably just hang on the wall.

The AXL has a different sound to it for me, this is my first experience with a hb in the bridge. Doesn't seem to want to stay in tune, may need to change the nut and could probably use a set-up, just haven't really had the time to mess with it yet. The Washburn is actually set up pretty good, not the best sound, but not really planning on using this as a player, but who knows, maybe a different hb?

A Dimarzio DP-156 (it's alnico) will do a great job as a bridge humbucker for a strat as it has an output better matched for the single coils. It also is available in black to match your Axl. Maybe new strings will help the tuning issues.

The AXL matches your Epiphone amp. Kinda neat.
