It actually got good reviews. Either way for $40 can't really loose, it looks hecka cool any way.

So, I put new strings on and plugged it in to my Epi Valve Special, this thing is not a bad guitar at all, I have played much worse. It needs a little fret work but the action and intonation are fine, it has good tone on passive almost P90ish, with the active turned on you get a cool blue light, hahahaha. And it does definitely boost the signal almost dangerously so when you throw on the dist, but it still sounds pretty cool, I bet it would scream with a new set of pups, but these do the job and look pretty cool. Any way, don't see it bein my #1, but man it is not a bad unit at all.

if my memory serves me correctly, i think that there was a competition where if you baught a VW beetle you got a free guitar and slash was in the commercial doing some licks.

Maybe that's why it says "First Act" on the headstock.
