New Samick (JTR) Guitars

I've been keeping tabs on the new Samick JTR (not greg bennett) line. They look promising, esp "Marie". Their MySpace page has said they would be in stores in July, so I located a dealer near OKC and e-mailed them about the one I like. They sent me some availability info and a price ($319) ans asked me if I'd like to order, but I'm not ordering blind without playing one first...

well, they share that dubious honor with the SX Furrian line from Rondo. yuck.

It reminds me of my Squier 51. I agree on the peghead. My other Samick isn't as bad, but I'd put a Strat neck on it in a New York minute...

i like it...but my tastes are different (i'm an art teacher, it's my responsibility to be a lil "weird"). i'd drop a rail humbucker in and and coil tap it though.
