The one I tried was out of a Standard.... 00 Indo 2 point trem...

as promised and mandated, here are the pics, finished her tonight, she about kicked my butt, the soldering went perfect, the neck, not so much... got it strung up, totally frettin out, shimmed the front of the neck, was better, adjusted the saddles, alil more better, but I was frettin out on 1-3, so, shimmed the nut...BUTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..want to personally thank everyone that had a hand in this.....

Great job, Jerry. I wish I would've been able to contribute somehow, but all the good people here beat me to it. Did you do anything special with the wiring, etc.? Just making sure you're living up to your sig.

thanks man..and yes, hooked up a jumper so the tone works with the bridge, 1/4 in rubber tubing in the trem springs to flatten the twang, rubber tubing instead of springs on the pickups, solid core wire for the ground and jack wires...so im sure she will know all these mods..LOL

I like the guitar. Looks almost like you knew what you were doing. It's cool how so many people came together to help. I have been chewing my fingernails in antici....pation of the pics I knew were coming.

I adjusted the fretbaord to level without strings on, so truss rod may need tightened a 1/4-1/2 turn.

That turned out nice. I have a thing for black bodies. The only thing I would change is to have made it a Tele, but kids prefer the strat.
