Hey friend. Just got that base plate you sent me. Right now we are under a tornado watch so I don't know if I will lose power or not. Wanted to say thanks and that thing looks like it is gonna do something to the sound. Now I gotta go get a new soldering iron tomorrow so I can start the surgery. You gonna have to walk me thru this when I get going. Between that and the new brass trem block should be a good mod job on the Deluxe. Thanks dude! I hope your wife don't get mad cause I gave you LP gas. That Xaviere 599 is a dream. I did an attempt at "Dreams i'll never see" with it and Jackie flipped. Oh yea, it's got Tone!

Got my Lemondrop and all the accessories this evening. This one is imacculate. Not a flaw anywhere and I really happy. It has that LP feel and the tone plus those pups are really good and growl like a dog. lol Now I have to get the camera back from my daughter again so I can take some pics to post. Now to set it up the way I like. Really got a nice one this time.

Hey Thumbs, I finally ordered that LP Xaviere XV-599. Ordered the gloss finish and a Hardshell black aligator case for it. I think its aligator. Also ordered a new strap. One of those Earl Slick ones. Started a thread in the Other guitar section. They should be shipping it today. Ordered it last night. All together plus 3 sets of strings was $365 shipped. Jackie demanded I go on and get it and quit making excuses. I love my wife.
