Default suggestions for guitar tuner?

I'm looking to replace my old needle type tuner. I'd like something more precise.
I'd also like something not too expensive ( under 50 ). Thanks in advance.

Steve

Spend the extra few bucks and get a good tuner...you'll be glad you did several times over, and the $20-$30 difference won't mean a thing over the long haul.

I've got a Boss TU-12H and wouldn't go with anything else...works great, precise, and no issues.

I have a Korg Chromatic CA-30 that works pretty good. when I set up my pedalboard, I got a Korg "Pitchblack" tuner. the tuner that you get is going to depend on what you're use will be. in other words, for your home use or for your pedalboard. I've also seen some that you just "clip" onto the headstock and then take it off when you're finished tuning.

I notice Google shows lots of free software digital tuners that work with a computer.

After weighing the options, I ended up going with the Boss TU-80. I need something for acoustic and electric, so I think it seemed like a good way to go.

sounds like a very good idea. also, maybe before long, he'll be able to "train" his ears to the correct "pitch". his other senses will start getting stronger. this will come naturally. I've learned this from experience.

Ya know his pitch is very good but i think he would like to have one. We were playing the outher night and what he really wants to do is go hog hunting we went hunting alot. Things are IMPROVING but slowly. He can still play his ass off.
Thanks Alot S.ROCK

I have a Matrix tuner that was about 16.00. The guitar plugs into it, no clip on or mics. Also on the web check out GET TUNED.com. A good site to check out.
