Default Line 6 UX1

Hey guys, I just got my UX1 Friday that I won on flee bay for 32.00, which is pretty sweet, anyway, does anyone out there have one?, besides pesky.lol..I need some pc info, he runs a mac but I need XP info, on a side note, this thing is AMAZING..I have it ran through my pc speakers which means I can play and run you tube or any other vid and play and learn along with or without headphones, and it cranks..Love that part...the settings and tones are endless....so let me know whos out there with one hooked to a PC...

it is definitely a Magic Box!!! stuffed with classic amps and more effects than you could ever need. and the thing weighs what, 1 oz?

and you can also buy expansion packs with other amps and effects.

I saw that, but ill never even begin to use whats in the box....I figured out the speaker thing ran my pc speakers directly into the headphone jack on the ux1..fixed... so if i want to use headphones, plug into the jack on my pc speakers

glad you got it figured out.

i liked mine so much i just bought a Pocket Pod a couple of weeks ago. not nearly as versatile, but runs on batteries and is stand-alone.

not sure. i use Garageband on my Mac. they do have a user forum where other pc people can help you out.

garage band isn't free. but it's cheap. it's part of the iLife package, which is $79.

but it doesn't run on PC's.

how does audacity work with pod farm? i guess im confused on how it records from line 6

audacity does work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, just loaded, recorded and filed, and it actually played back...lol..one step closer....

Good job figuring it out!!!!

There is also a plug-in that you can download from the Audacity site that will allow you to export to MP3.

This thing is amazing, I spent about 7 hours on this thing over the weekend and im so blown away, by far the best 32.00 I ever spent, and rocks either thur my pc speakers or my headphones and keeps the tone perfect....is there a way to run this thur my amp?

whoaa!!! you got it for $32??? that's crazy!! i paid a lot more for mine new. but i won't complain because even at full price, its a steal, IMO.

and yes you can send it to your amp. the UX1 has analog outputs.

there are 2 analog outs...does it matter which one?..so put it in front of the amp like a pedal?...

yep. but it's not a standalone like the line 6 pods, so it will have to be connected to the computer.
