Default New Vox amp

I bought a new Vox AC4TV today. My brother found it on sale for
$139.00 at J&R'S.com. I wanted one for a long time, but $250.00 and up was out of my price range. I have heard all good stuff about it.

Is it this one? http://www.jr.com/vox/pe/VX_AC4TV/ Looks like a nice little amp. I like that it has a 1/4 watt setting, I could play that at home at 5 AM, no problems disturbing neighbors.

I really see nothing wrong with it if she wants to sleep on the couch. Maybe she wants some "alone" time. By all means, buy your amp! You only go around once.

You really have to sit down with the Vox AC4TV to understand just how good it sounds. First time I played through it, I could not believe it cost so little. The tone is there and very much a Vox sound. Vox has sold a pile of these things and in my opinion has set the standard for great tone at a low price. It is a much better amp than a Valve Jr or others that come before it. If you think about it, some of the great rock songs of the day were recorded on small amps. ZZTop La Grange, Rocky Mountain Way. There a countless songs. Brian May using the Decy, that was made by John Deacon and resembled a small FM radio, is another example of small sounding big in the studio.

If you haven't had a chance to play one of these, next you see it in the guitar store.. play it... You might like it.

Does anyone know if the AC4TV8 is discountinued? I couldn't find it on MF or GC sites anymore.

I can't believe VOX replaces AC4TV8 with AC4TV Mini which has a smaller speaker.

I bought one from JR's at that price about a month ago. Free shipping and a $10 online coupon.

It is an AMAZING little beauty
