Its a 10-ohm Modern/Vintage Rail from GFS. Ive use SDs and have had Joe DiMarzio custom wind me a couple for my Hamers.
But these Lil Puncher bridge rail 10ohm. It a spot on pick-up. I've used them is "three" diferent Teles thus far and have been nothing but impressed with them. Very Clear and Clean with excellent output. If you roll back the volume a bit it cops a great single-coil Tele tone. Mine here is tapped and a 5-way is added. So it gets great single coil Tones also. And is Hot enough where it works in SC mode. But the humbucker mode with just the volume rolled back works exceptional.
I used the neck also in a Tele MOF theres a photo on this forum of my Shorline Gold Tele with both Rails in. That I wasn't as impressed with. Not clean enough for me.
But on the contrary, I have a threesome on Lil Killers in a Strat partscaster I built. Im LOVE that set. And its the first set I used by GFS that got me fooling in his direction.
Without a doubt I like them better tha SDs and DiMarzios though. I've played Bill Lawrence 250's and they are VERY impressive also. They cop the best vintage Strat tone I've ever heard with a rail. Well give Coco Montoyas 1st CD released a listen to. Those are 250 rails by BL. A liitle less output than the Killers and a bit more jangly. I could not believe it when I was first told those were rails. Someone asked me what was the best vintage Strat tone I have heard. I mentioned that LP without knowing what Coco was using. Shocked me when I found out. I've been fooling with Rails since.
