There was nothing else done beyond mounting the Bigsby and filing the grooves.
Note that a Bigsby B50 was used which came off some broken Gretsch. (found it on CL). The string spacing is much narrower on a B5 and might not line up so nicely.

Thanks for letting me know. Mine is a little neck-heavy and a Bigsby might be the ticket to balancing it out. Hmmm.
